peccato!
a inizio anno si vocifera di una livrea bianco rossa per il giappone...
The Gauloises Yamaha Team has told Crash.net that they will not be using a special 50th anniversary livery for the upcoming Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi.
As the centrepiece of Yamaha's anniversary celebrations, July's US Grand Prix at Laguna Seca saw the factory team, including riders Valentino Rossi and Colin Edwards, run in retro 'Yamaha USA yellow' (pictured).
Many expected Yamaha to repeat that move for their own home grand prix, on September 18, by again replacing the team's usual blue Gauloises colours with a special livery from Yamaha's racing history - but this has been ruled out…
"Sadly not! Both the riders and team will be in regular Gauloises Yamaha livery in Motegi," a team spokesperson told Crash.net.
Rossi can wrap up the 2005 MotoGP World Championship at Motegi by finishing second or better.
